South Carolina High School Football - Hammond can't hold off Wilson Hall
September 19, 2024: Columbia, SC 29209 Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC), 20-15 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wilson Hall advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Barons travel to Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Cardinal Newman won 22-21 in their recent non-league battle against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC)
The Skyhawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood Academy for a battle on Friday, September 27.
