South Carolina High School Football - St. James crushed by James Island
September 19, 2024: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 44-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, James Island improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Trojans host West Ashley (Charleston, SC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-3. West Ashley lost 20-7 in their recent non-league battle against Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC)
The Sharks now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Berkeley for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. St. James will play a Stags team coming off a 20-7 non-league win over West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Stags record now stands at 2-0.
