The Cisne Runnin' Lions volleyball squad (Cisne, IL), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL)

With the win, Altamont improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Indians host Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL) to encounter the Bobcats in a National Trail battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 4-7. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL)
