In Thursday's league challenge, the host Armstrong Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Milford Bearcats.

The Trojans (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Hilltoppers enter the Vermilion Valley challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Schlarman beat Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils (Bismarck, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
