September 19, 2024: Upper Montclair, NJ 07043 Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lacordaire Academy Lions (Upper Montclair, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Beloved Community Charter improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Owls travel to St. Dominic Academy (Jersey City, NJ) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 2-5. St. Dominic Academy lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Harrison (Harrison, NJ)
The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1.
