The Central Lions topped the visiting Griffin Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) in a 4A Area 3 game, on Thursday, September 19. Central will attempt to advance on its 26-9 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 14-16 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lassiter (Marietta, GA).
