Virginia High School Football - Liberty Christian trounces Amherst County

September 19, 2025: Lynchburg, VA 24502

In Friday's league match, the host Liberty Christian Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 50-14 triumph over the Amherst County Lancers.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Seminole match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Jefferson Forest routed Liberty (Bedford, VA), 43-8, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Lancers meet the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole match, on Friday, September 26. Amherst County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bees go into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 42-7 league win over Rustburg (Rustburg, VA).
