The Columbia City Eagles football team (Columbia City, IN), dropped 28-7 in Friday's league bout with the visiting DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN)

With the win, DeKalb advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Barons travel to Huntington North (Huntington, IN) to encounter the Vikings in a Northeast 8 bout on Friday, September 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Huntington North won 42-12 in their recent league contest against Bellmont (Decatur, IN)

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN) in a Northeast 8 contest, on Friday, September 26. Columbia City will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 45-14 league win over Norwell (Ossian, IN).
