Missouri High School Football - Palmyra wallops Highland
September 19, 2025: Ewing, MO 63440 The Palmyra Panthers football team scored 67 points and held the host Highland Cougars to 20 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Panthers face the North Callaway Thunderbirds (Kingdom City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Palmyra will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 60-12 league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO).
The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South Shelby (Shelbina, MO). The Cardinals enter the Clarence Cannon challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, South Shelby was overwhelmed by Clark County (Kahoka, MO), 14-8, in a league outing.
