In Friday's league outing, the visiting Alliance Christian Gryphons soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Valley Forge Baptist Academy Patriots.

The Gryphons (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA). The go into the Commonwealth Christian outing with a 1-5 record.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Jenkintown Drakes (Jenkintown, PA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 22. Valley Forge Baptist Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Drakes come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA).
