The Southwest Christian School Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Trinity Christian Lions to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland Christian for a TAPPS 5A District 1 game on Saturday, September 20. Southwest Christian School will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-16.

The Lions (21-6) will now prepare for their game against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX). The Saints go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 game with a 12-4 record. In their last game, All Saints gained a win over Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
