Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Westbury Huskies (Houston, TX), 38-35 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Fort Bend Austin improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to battle the Vikings in a 6A Region III District 20 test on Thursday, September 8. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-2. Fort Bend Dulles lost 38-3 in their recent non-league test against Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX)

With the loss, Westbury drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 8.
