September 2, 2022: Sanford, NC 27330 The Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) football nudged the visiting South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC), 34-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets face the Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Lee County will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Phoenix enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-20 non-league loss to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA).
