Indiana High School Football - Linton-Stockton can't hold off Boonville
September 20, 2024: Boonville, IN 47601 Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN), 21-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Boonville improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN) to play the Wildcats in a Pocket - Big School battle on Friday, September 27. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Mt. Vernon lost 48-20 in their recent non-league battle against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)
The Miners now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Greencastle for a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. Linton-Stockton will play a Tiger Cubs team coming off a 17-14 non-league win over Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN). The Tiger Cubs record now stands at 2-3.
