September 20, 2024: Taft, TX 78390 The Yorktown Wildcats were victorious over the host Taft Greyhounds football team by a score of 30-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Bruni Badgers (Bruni, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Yorktown will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Badgers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 22-12 non-league win over Kaufer (Riviera, TX).
The Greyhounds (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX). The Blue Devil enter the 3A-2 Region IV District 16 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Monte Alto lost by La Villa (La Villa, TX), 38-8, in a non-league challenge.
