Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), 14-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hastings upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to play the SkyHawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The SkyHawks enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Skutt Catholic won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE)

With the loss, McCook moves to 6-13 on the season. The Bison host North Platte (North Platte, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 10-10. North Platte won 17-4 in their recent non-league battle against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE)
