McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Chiefs (27-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Vincent's beat Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Central will attempt to advance on its 26-9 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 22-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Creekside (Fairburn, GA).
