Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Portage Northern improves its record to 12-11 on the season. The Huskies host Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 16-3. Lakeview won 3-1 in their recent league test against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI)
