The Lafayette Commodores volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Northeast Lauderdale Trojans to 0 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Commodores now possess a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson Prep for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Lafayette will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Northeast Lauderdale drops to 8-20 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS) to play the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 12-5. Presbyterian Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS)
