September 21, 2023: Union, SC 29379 In Thursday's non-league game, the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) football team knocked off the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), by a final score of 22-2.
The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Carolina Academy was dropped by Southside (Greenville, SC), 20-16, in a non-league game.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Union County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 32-16 non-league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.
