The Moapa Valley Pirates football squad scored 42 points and restricted the host Boulder City Eagles to 9 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mater Academy East Las Vegas for a 3A Southern battle on Friday, September 29. Moapa Valley will play a Knights squad coming off a 36-30 league win over Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) in a 3A Southern battle, on Friday, September 29. Boulder City will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 59-19 league win over The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV).
