The Brown County Hornets volleyball squad (Mt. Sterling, IL), dropped 2-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Liberty Eagles (Liberty, IL)

With the win, Liberty improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Eagles host Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL) to meet the Wolves in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 3-11. Pleasant Hill lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL)

Next, the Hornets meet the Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Brown County will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 12-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL).
