Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic match, on Tuesday, September 26. Marian Catholic will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Redwings come into the match with a 17-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
