The Bees now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Brecksville-Broadview Heights will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 league win over Steele (Amherst, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights varsity boys soccer team dropped their first game of the season, falling 3–1 to Hudson at Memorial Stadium. The Bees took a 1–0 lead into halftime when Dominic Dean scored on a rebound from a shot by his older brother Rocco Dean. Brecksville’s defense held strong through the first 40 minutes, but Hudson controlled the second half and scored three unanswered goals to secure the win. “This was a tough game against a quality opponent,” said Coach Brad Dean. “We had a great start, but Hudson adjusted well in the second half. It’s an important learning experience for us as we move forward.” The Bees will look to bounce back Saturday at Avon.
