Illinois High School Volleyball - Mendon Unity over Brown County

September 23, 2025: Mt. Sterling, IL 62353

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Brown County Hornets.

The Mustangs (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Prairie (Sciota, IL). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, West Prairie beat Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Brown County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 13-4 record after their 2-0 league win over West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL).
