The Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) volleyball overcame the host Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN), 2-0 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Jay County upgrades its record to 5-15 on the year. The Patriots travel to Adams Central (Monroe, IN) to face the Flying Jets in a Allen County outing on Saturday, September 24. The Flying Jets go into the outing with a record of 10-8. Adams Central lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Raiders now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Tri-Central for a non-league outing on Monday, September 26. Southern Wells will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-11.
