September 24, 2025: El Paso, TX 79912 The Franklin Cougars were victorious over the host Coronado Thunderbirds football team by a score of 14-6 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 37-7 league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX).
The Thunderbirds (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Spartans enter the challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Pebble Hills topped Americas (El Paso, TX), 24-12, in a non-league test.
