The Chaparral Wolverines routed the visiting Douglas County Huskies softball team by a margin of 12-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponderosa for a 5A/4A Continental battle on Friday, September 26. Chaparral will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-11.

The Huskies (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Overland (Aurora, CO). The Trailblazers go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Overland was routed by Thornton (Thornton, CO), 8-0, in a non-league test.
