Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX), 37-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cornerstone Christian advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Stanton (Stanton, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Stanton lost 21-17 in their recent non-league match against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX)

Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the Travis Rebels (Austin, TX) in a 4A-1 Region IV District 13 match, on Friday, October 3. LBJ Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 26-12 league loss to Eastside Early College (Austin, TX).
