In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Centennial Broncos softball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Lexington Minutemen.

The Broncos (9-12) will now prepare for their match against Blue River (David City, NE). The go into the non-league match with a 14-7 record. In their last game, Blue River defeated Polk County (Stromsburg, NE), 10-5, in a non-league game.

The Minutemen now hold a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to Kearney Catholic for a non-league game on Thursday, September 25. Lexington will play a Stars squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE). The Stars record now stands at 16-4.
