The Alexander Central Cougars topped the visiting St. Stephens Indians volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Cougars face the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a Northwestern 6A/7A game, on Tuesday, September 30. Alexander Central will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 10-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC).
