The Corning Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Las Plumas Thunderbirds to 1 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Oroville for a Butte View outing on Tuesday, September 30. Corning will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gridley (Gridley, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Las Plumas drops to 2-17 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Live Oak (Live Oak, CA) to face the Lions in a Butte View game on Tuesday, September 30. The Lions go into the game with a record of 8-9. Live Oak lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Orland (Orland, CA)
