In Thursday's league match, the Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Heyworth improves its record to 17-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league battle on Monday, September 29.
