Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) and the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA), observed Hughson's volleyball team top Hilmar by a tally of 3-0.

The Huskies (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston (Livingston, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) in a Trans Valley League contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Hilmar will attempt to improve on its 16-8 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 16-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Escalon (Escalon, CA).
