Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) and the visiting Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA), observed Winchester's volleyball team top Reading Memorial by a count of 3-0.

The Red & Black (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Brookline (Brookline, MA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Brookline notched a victory over Walpole (Walpole, MA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Rockets now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Longmeadow for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Reading Memorial will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mount Greylock Regional (Williamstown, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 9-0.
