The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) and the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), saw South Johnston's volleyball squad beat Triton by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, South Johnston upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Trojans host Fike (Wilson, NC) to play the Demons in a Quad County 3A bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Fike lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Johnston (Benson, NC)

The Hawks now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a All American 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 27. Triton will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-7.
