In Tuesday's league contest, the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 contest, on Friday, September 29. McKinney will attempt to better on its 17-10 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 25-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Allen (Allen, TX).

With the loss, Guyer moves to 8-17 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to battle the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, September 29.
