In Thursday's league match, the host Fort Bend Elkins Knights football squad scored a decisive 41-6 triumph over the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs.

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region III District 21 match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Travis was routed by Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX), 45-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 match, on Friday, October 4. Fort Bend Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rangers come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 42-28 league loss to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
