The Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) football trounced the visiting Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), 56-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Bearcats now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ryan for a 5A-1 Region I District 3 outing on Friday, October 3. Aledo will face a Raiders team coming off a 41-0 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals enter the 5A-1 Region I District 3 game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Richland overwhelmed Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX), 51-21, in a league game.
