Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the visiting Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX), saw Ridge Point's football team triumph over Fort Bend Travis by a final score of 49-9.

With the win, Ridge Point advances its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to meet the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 21 match on Thursday, October 2. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 3-2. Fort Bend Bush lost 35-21 in their recent league match against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX)

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 match, on Thursday, October 2. Fort Bend Travis will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 49-20 league win over Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX).
