The Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE) football knocked off the visiting Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE), 34-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Knights now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wahoo for a C1 District 3 outing on Friday, October 3. Mount Michael Benedictine will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 56-14 league win over Douglas County West (Valley, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.

The Pioneers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE). The enter the C1 District 3 game with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder achieved victory over Concordia (Omaha, NE), 44-10, in a league outing.
