Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) followers were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 50-7 in a non-league match.

The Toros (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Colts come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Buena was routed by Marana (Tucson, AZ), 52-25, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 6A Central match, on Friday, October 3. Higley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Sabercats go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 28-21 non-league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ).
