The Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) football were winner over the host Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA), 30-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Maplewood for a District 10 Region 2 outing on Friday, October 3. Saegertown will face a Tigers team coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils enter the District 10 Region 1 game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Sharpsville ran past Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 21-20, in a non-league game.
