Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX), 56-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Prestonwood Christian advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Lions host Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) to play the Friars in a TAPPS Division I District 1 battle on Friday, October 3. The Friars go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Bishop Lynch won 49-7 in their recent non-league battle against Dallas HSAA (Plano, TX)

The Vikings now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Parish Episcopal for a TAPPS Division I District 1 match on Friday, October 3. Nolan Catholic will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 43-21 league win over Legacy Christian Academy (Frisco, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
