Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 36-34 in a league battle.

With the win, Upper Scioto Valley improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Rams host Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Toledo Christian won 27-0 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Golden Gophers now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central match on Friday, October 3. Ridgemont will meet a Polar Bears squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Ridgedale (Morral, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-5.
