Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars face the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a Big South 3A challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Forestview will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 5-0 league loss to North Gaston (Dallas, NC).
