The Andress Eagles edged the visiting Hanks Knights football team by a score of 49-42 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Andress will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 42-21 league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A-2 Region I District 1 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Burges was edged by Chapin (El Paso, TX), 45-21, in a league challenge.
