Iowa High School Football - East Union crushed by Lenox
September 27, 2024: Lenox, IA 50851 Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting East Union Eagles (Afton, IA), 58-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Lenox improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Murray (Murray, IA) to play the Mustangs in a 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 4. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Murray lost 58-18 in their recent league battle against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)
The Eagles now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mormon Trail for a 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 4. East Union will play a Saints team coming off a 76-6 league loss to Bedford (Bedford, IA). The Saints record now stands at 0-5.
