In Friday's non-league game, the Post Antelopes (Post, TX) football team triumphed over the visiting Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX), by a tally of 59-6.

In their next game, the Antelopes battle the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 2 game, on Friday, October 11. Post will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 46-7 non-league loss to Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX).
