The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears football squad scored 16 points and limited the host Vidor Pirates to 12 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin-Jefferson for a 4A-1 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 4. Little Cypress-Mauriceville will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 33-24 league win over Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Vidor drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Bridge City (Bridge City, TX) to meet the Cardinals in a 4A-1 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 4.
